Canyoning in New Zealand
Queenstown is the adventure capital of New Zealand, and it claims to be the birthplace of bungee jumping. I bemoaned not going there when I was younger, but you make the best of what you have. There is no better place for a bunch of friends to get together for vacation.
It was Mark’s idea to go canyoning. He talked us all into it and also arranged everything. I just tagged along because I couldn’t get out of it. I didn’t even know what canyoning was until I was there. It turned out to be a memorable day, made all the more fun by our guides and group. The guides picked us up in downtown Queenstown and drove about 45 minutes out of town, where some of the best canyons are.
