The trip during which these timelapses were taken will always hold a special place in my heart. It was my first time to Scotland (I’ve been back a few times since then), and also the first time I took a solo trip with the sole aim of hiking in the wilderness. Scotland is one of the safest and prettiest places to hike in the world.

An added bonus from this video was that I was approached by an airline and a TV station to use some of this footage. This was early in my photography days and just the kind of encouragement I needed to keep going.
